"THE CROSSING"
2024 Bronze Sculpture 56”h X 24.25”X 14”D Cast Bronze with Slate and Walnut base.
The sculpture "The Crossing" depicts a deer crossing water, offering viewers multiple perspectives from different vantage points. The reflection of the deer striding across the water is presented on a vertical plane, while the view from below the water showcases another angle. From above, the highly polished, stylized movements of the waves are evident. The concept of crossing symbolizes the retirement of East Asia Sentinel's founding partner, who leaves a lasting legacy for the company.
